About Us

Great Lakes Short Seas Shipping

The Eco Ships fleet is the marine highway that connects midwest ports to eachother and the global market with scheduled liner service.

Avoid logistical bottlenecks in crowded intermodal yards. Eliminate traffic delays. Stop paying for highway oversize and overweight charges.

Shipping by water is the most efficient form of transportation. Shipments can be moved across the Midwest using half the equipment, fewer drivers, and less than one third of the fuel compaired to conventional truck and rail methods.

The Eco Ships Team

The Eco Ships Team is comprised of a very talented and experienced group of individuals with extensive backgrounds in shipping, logistics, finance, and marine engineering.  The team members have a common love for the water and an understanding of its economic and recreational value.  As recreational boaters, sailors, and fishermen, the Eco Ships Team will continue to practice good steward ship in builing a company and a Marine HIghway that utilizes and protects the region's greatest natural resource, the Great Lakes.
